Repair Warranty & Customer Terms

Warranty consideration applies only to conditions determined to result from workmanship actually performed by Alex's Paint & Auto Body LLC.

The existence of a problem in an area of a vehicle that was previously repaired does not, by itself, establish that the condition was caused by our work.

Customers must provide Alex's Paint & Auto Body LLC a reasonable opportunity to inspect a claimed workmanship issue before corrective repairs are performed by another repair facility, except when emergency repairs are reasonably necessary.

Repair concerns should be reported promptly after they are discovered.

When a concern is reported after a significant period of time, Alex's Paint & Auto Body LLC may consider the vehicle's current condition, mileage, normal wear, subsequent accidents or impacts, corrosion, environmental exposure, maintenance, modifications, subsequent repairs, disassembly by others, original repair documentation and other relevant information when determining whether the condition resulted from our workmanship.

Time alone does not establish responsibility for a current vehicle condition.

Parts used in a repair may be OEM, aftermarket, used, reconditioned or rebuilt as identified in the applicable estimate, repair authorization or invoice.

Manufacturer, supplier and insurance-company warranties on parts are subject to their applicable terms. Alex's Paint & Auto Body LLC is responsible for its own workmanship and does not assume responsibility for defects or warranty obligations belonging to an unrelated manufacturer, supplier or insurer.

For insurance repairs, the insurance estimate identifies repairs and parts approved or estimated by the insurance company.

Alex's Paint & Auto Body LLC is responsible for work actually performed by our shop. An insurance estimate or payment does not make Alex's Paint & Auto Body LLC responsible for unrelated damage, previously unidentified damage, subsequent damage or repairs that were not performed by our shop.

When a repair concern is reported, Alex's Paint & Auto Body LLC has the right to inspect the vehicle and review available repair records before determining responsibility.

We may request the original repair information, current mileage, photographs, insurance documentation and information regarding subsequent accidents, repairs or modifications.

Accepting or inspecting a vehicle does not by itself constitute an admission that Alex's Paint & Auto Body LLC caused the condition or has agreed to perform repairs at no charge.

If our inspection determines that a condition resulted from workmanship performed by Alex's Paint & Auto Body LLC, we will address the matter consistent with the original repair, applicable warranty terms and applicable law.

Customers should inspect their vehicle when it is returned and contact Alex's Paint & Auto Body LLC promptly if they discover a concern they believe is related to our work.

Customers should retain their repair estimate, authorization, final invoice and insurance documentation.

Nothing in these terms is intended to eliminate any consumer right that cannot legally be waived.
